ERIN MILLER WRAY'S EPIC MURAL IS NOW ON VIEW AT LAX

The 94’ long mural titled 'Bird's Eye View' was produced by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) to present diverse and memorable art experiences at Los Angeles International Airport.

Pulling inspiration from the natural patterns and hues found in the aerial views seen from an airplane window, Erin created a bold, modern mural that explores the emotional effects of oversized shapes and energetic colors. Erin reflects on the moment of pause that often occurs when traveling on a plane, when we realize how small we are on this miraculous planet. Up close you are surrounded by a single color, but a step back reveals positive and negative space within the shapes, altering the scale of the design and creating a sense of vastness.
