Happy Friday! Feeling extra inspired to spend this weekend enjoying the Summer sunshine thanks to these beautiful shots Peter Sutherland got on his recent trip to Mexico.
Peter Sutherland‘s “Forests and Fires” will be featured as a Spring Exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, now until April 3rd! Enjoy a few shots of the exhibition from Peter himself, as well as a little behind the scenes footage of the installation (set to the tune of one of our favorite songs)…

If you find yourself in Miami Beach, stop by the NADA Art Fair happening Dec 4th-7th. The fair vigorously pursues exploring new and underexposed art that is not typical of the “art establishment.” Peter Sutherland is one of the emerging fine artists that NADA is debuting! Read more about NADA’s art fair and exhibits here. Sutherland also got a write up in artsy.net that talks about his work more in depth. Check it out here!
To all of you planning on being in Brussels between now and November 22, Peter Sutherland will be having an exhibit on display at Galerie Rodolphe Janssen, which opens tomorrow, Saturday, October 25. For his first solo exhibition at Galerie Rodolphe Janssen, Peter will present an installation comprised of two series of works that juxtapose a web of stories and iconography – from healing rocks and inexpensive construction materials, to majestic mountainscapes and Colorado bonfires. If you’ll be anywhere near Brussels in the next month, this show is not worth missing! More info here.
Peter Sutherland just added a whole bunch of new work to his website, including these two images from his can-related series. They are mixed media, composed of Inkjet on Perforated Vinyl Decal, Masonite, India Ink, and Stickers. And they’re titled in a playfully can-do way. See more of Peter’s recent work here.
