“Better,” the third single from superstar producer Ricky Reed’s album The Room, brings together vocalists Leon Bridges and Kiana Lede for a song about going back to the places and people who made you who you are. But it’s more than a song—by watching the video on YouTube, you’re raising money for the Solutions Project, which supports community leaders working to solve climate problems. “Reed’s label, Nice Life, will match the total donation up to $30,000,” reported Cool Hunting. Ayinde collaborated with director Jai Moseley of Stink Films, who came to the project with a strong vision. Their process included detailed discussions of match cutting, camera movement, composition, the flow of the story, and the aspect ratio, which is “a pretty strong stylistic choice,” notes Ayinde.
