Christian directed video of two live performances for Dr. Martens. The Dr. Martens website explains: "Our most anticipated event to date was The Dr. Martens Presents Tour in New York. We started the show in the heart of Bushwick with genre-bending artist Freakquencee and Big Freedia for a super high-energy dance party at Brooklyn Made. Freakquencee opened the show with a 13-person band; needless to say the crowd picked up on the hyped-up vibe. Later, Big Freedia did what she does best -- turning the energy all the way up and bringing the house down. The Queen of Bounce, her dancers, and tons of fans took the stage for a night of joy and community." Check out more here.

"We collaborated on site with the Dr. Martens team, and it was really fun," says Christian. "Our goal was to expand a narrative of community and excitement around the performers who would soon come to light up the stage. Both artists were engaging to interview, and I felt that we were able to document rich material with so many cool vantage points. We filmed all around the venue—the dancers, the audience, the shoes. It was a rush of energy from start to finish. People were so happy to see Freakquencee and Big Freedia turn up on stage, and they both amped up the crowd, which was great for catching their expressions and movement."
