“I love browsing at the New York Public Library Picture Collection and getting inspired,” Jessica explains. “I love looking through both the physical and digital collections, and when I came across this set of beautiful astrological illustrations by 19th-century astronomer and artist, Etienne Leopold Trouvelot, I immediately knew I wanted to recreate them with beauty textures. I’ve always loved creating personal work exploring outer space, like in my film "Mooni Golf," and this set of images builds upon that.”
