"The concept of the shoot with Ms. Patti LaBelle was to give her her flowers," explains Juan. "I felt like I was in the presence of an aunt I haven't seen in years! The legendary singer was so gracious and patient, dancing around and singing. I'm honored to have been able to photograph her in her home, as I was able to capture her in her sacred space. I will forever remember this experience."
